I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you can find comfort in the scripture found at Psalms 147:3 that says; “He is healing the broken hearted ones and binding up their painful spots”. God is the hearer of prayer and he will comfort you in the days ahead as you remember all those precious memories of Parker.
Please accept my condolences. Please know that the”God of Comfort” feels your pain and sorrow. He actually provides something BETTER to look forward to. Jeremiah 29:11 specifically tells us God wants to give us a “FUTURE and HOPE.” God promises in the near future ALL the pain and sorrow you are experiencing about your loss will be gone and we will be able to enjoy PERFECT life with ALL our LOVED ones.
While words fail to capture the PAIN of losing loved ones, we look forward to the time when words will FAIL to capture the JOY of having our HEAVENLY FATHER return your DEAR one to you through GOD’S KINGDOM. The BLESSINGS will come to those living on the earth. JOHN 5:28-29, PSALMS 37:9-11,29, ECCLESIASTES 1:4. JESUS taught us to pray for that KINGDOM/GOVERNMENT in the “OUR FATHER PRAYER” MATTHEW 6:9-10, 33.
Dear Catherine, Brian and Family,
There are no words to express my sorrow for you in your tragic loss of your son. Know that I have been praying for all of you as well as for the eternal rest of Parker, now with our God of Mercy and Love.
May God give you strength, faith and courage to get through this tragic time.
Sincerely.
Your cousin,
Sr. Teresa
So very sorry to hear about the loss of your son. We did not know him personally, but Marielle spoke of him often. Our prayers are with you & your family. ?
Brian, Catherine, Alexandra and Meghan…My heart aches for you at Parker’s loss. May God hold each of you in the palm of His hand and give you peace. May Parker Rest In Peace in His presence.
I wanted to express my sincere sympathy and offer some words of encouragement from God’s word, the Bible. Jesus likened death to sleep. He used his God-given power to resurrect ones like Lazarus. (John 11:11,43,44) The Bible records 8 instances of humans being brought back to life on earth. These resurrections were a fore-gleam of what Jesus, as king of God’s kingdom, will soon do for all who have died. (Acts 24:15, John 5:28,29) God’s word also tells us what life on earth will be like during this time. It promises that there will be no more pain, death, sickness, or wickedness. (Revelation 21:4; Isaiah 33:24; Psalm 37:10,11) What a wonderful hope that is- to welcome back our loved ones who have died to perfect health and conditions! And to have this hope ourselves!
Feel free to contact me, if you’d like more information about these Bible promises and how Bible prophecy proves it’s soon to take place. You can search for and read the brochure, When Someone You Love Dies, on the website jw.org. It was helpful and brought me comfort after I lost my mom. I’m so sorry for your loss!
